Quality Assurance Coordinator – Lead Quality Team

About the role

Our client, a leading engineering and fabrication company, is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead quality initiatives across its fabrication and manufacturing operations. The role will strengthen the quality management system, drive continuous improvement, and ensure products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee incoming, in‑process, and final inspections of fabricated products.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customer quality concerns and supplier quality performance.
• Support customer and certification audits while ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
• Control quality documentation, inspection records, and traceability systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Hands‑on experience in steel, structural or sheet‑metal fabrication, welding, CNC machining, laser cutting, or powder coating.
