Quality Officer – Engineering Inspection

About the role

The Quality Officer will ensure that engineering, fabrication, installation and maintenance activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and company requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of engineering, fabrication, installation and maintenance works.
• Review and interpret CAD/AutoCAD drawings to verify conformity with approved designs.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machinery, fabricated components and engineering works.
• Identify, document and follow up on defects and non‑conformities, preparing inspection reports and NCRs.
• Inspect materials, components and spare parts against approved specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in quality control, engineering, manufacturing or fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/CAD software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
