Reconciliation Manager

About the role

The Reconciliation Manager will lead a dedicated team responsible for overseeing multiple reconciliation portfolios, ensuring that all financial entries are accurately matched and any breaks are resolved promptly. This role requires strong analytical abilities, stakeholder management skills, and the capacity to allocate resources efficiently in a fast‑moving finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the reconciliations team and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee multiple reconciliation portfolios and ensure timely resolution of breaks, queries and escalations.
• Maintain accurate matching of entries across payment and settlement systems.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for complex discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with senior stakeholders and provide regular reporting on reconciliation performance.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial reconciliation, preferably within IPSS or similar payment environments.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing senior‑level stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, cash reconciliation, and financial accounting.
