Recruitment Candidate Consultant – UK Education (Remote, Kenya)

About the role

UCM Education is seeking 1‑2 Recruitment Candidate Consultants to support its UK Education desks. This full‑time, remote position is based in Kenya and focuses on fast‑paced candidate delivery for early years, teachers, teaching assistants and SEN staff placements in UK schools.

Key responsibilities

• Source suitable candidates using the existing database, job boards and other recruitment channels.
• Review CVs, identify relevant experience, gaps and strengths.
• Conduct screening calls to assess suitability, communication skills and availability.
• Manage candidate communication via calls, email and messages, keeping pipelines active.
• Update the CRM accurately and consistently.
• Book candidates for next steps and support them through the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to meet placement targets.
• Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with the wider team.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of candidate‑facing recruitment experience.
• Proven ability to engage candidates, run screening calls and manage pipelines.
• Motivated, coachable and driven to achieve strong performance.
• Comfortable working remotely and delivering results quickly.

• Base salary of KES 70,000 – 85,000 per month plus commission and bonuses.
