Registrar – Academic Administration (Kenya)

About the role
The Registrar, Kenya will lead the academic administration and student records functions for Aga Khan University’s Nairobi campus. Reporting to the University Registrar, the role ensures the integrity, accuracy, security and regulatory compliance of academic records throughout the student lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Create, analyse and report student admissions data to support academic committees and university leadership.
- Identify recruitment needs, manage overall recruitment activities for programmes in Kenya and oversee production of advertisements and application materials.
- Develop and manage student outreach services to enhance entry‑based efforts for regional programmes.
- Ensure integrity of application and admissions processes for all academic programmes in Kenya.
- Oversee registration, enrolment, course scheduling, progression and graduation operations.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to provide efficient, student‑centred services while maintaining institutional and regulatory compliance.
- Participate as a member of the East Africa Executive Committee and undertake tasks assigned by the University Registrar.
