Remote Finance Data Analyst (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Data Analyst to join a leading global financial services firm on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on analysing financial data to support strategic decision‑making and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyse financial data from multiple sources to identify trends and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, expense, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Prepare detailed reports and interactive dashboards for stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate financial insights into business operations.

Required profile

• Proficiency with financial data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
• Experience building financial models and performing forecasts.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Ability to create visualisations using Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with data cleaning and validation processes.
