Reservations Associate

About the role

The Partnership Agency is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Reservation Officer with at least 3 years of experience in the tourism industry and/or customer care. The ideal candidate has worked with lodges and tourism accommodation, has basic accounting skills and excellent communication skills, and can manage reservations accurately while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely responses to client inquiries.
• Provide personalized customer service and resolve booking-related issues promptly.
• Collaborate with lodge teams to confirm availability, special requests and accurate booking details.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Handle payment processing, cancellations and amendments in line with company policy, and record all related financial transactions accurately.
• Identify ways to improve customer satisfaction and streamline booking processes.
• Stay up to date on lodge services and tourism trends to give clients useful recommendations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism and Hospitality or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in tourism and customer care.
• Proven experience with lodges or tourism accommodation is mandatory.
• Strong customer care skills and attention to detail in bookings and reporting.

Required skills

• Basic accounting skills for payments and financial records.
• Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
