Reservations & Listing Intern

About the role

Career Directions Limited (CDL) is looking for a Reservations & Listing Intern to join its Clients team in Nairobi. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Reservations Manager, aimed at people who want to start their career in reservations and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing, confirming, modifying and cancelling reservations.
• Respond to guest enquiries via WhatsApp, email, Airbnb, Booking.com and other channels.
• Help check availability, rates and booking details.
• Liaise with guests, Housekeeping, Operations, Finance and other teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Prepare booking confirmations, invoices, payment follow-ups and guest information.
• Help prepare daily check-in and check-out lists.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records and support the Reservations Manager with daily administrative and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in reservations, hospitality, customer service or a related role.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com is an added advantage; speaking or writing Chinese is also an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of Airbnb and Booking.com is an added advantage.
