Sales Executive – Animal Feed (Kiambu & Meru)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Sales Executive to expand our presence in the animal feed market across Kiambu and Meru. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets in a fast‑paced, target‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned territories.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and key customers, providing tailored product information and commercial solutions.
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline, track performance, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor actions to inform sales tactics.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade events, and networking forums.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial activities with business objectives and support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Animal Science, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in animal feed sales or a comparable commercial role within the agricultural sector.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse market data.
