Sales Executive - Corporate Events & Hospitality

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management solutions firm operating across East Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan). On behalf of its client, it is hiring a Sales Executive in Kenya to grow revenue by acquiring corporate clients, securing event bookings, building partnerships and promoting restaurant, food and beverage, padel and other services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new corporate clients such as companies, embassies, NGOs, schools, travel agencies, tour operators and event planners, and build lasting relationships with them.
• Secure bookings for corporate functions, private parties, birthdays, celebrations and team-building events, and turn leads into confirmed bookings.
• Develop and promote corporate packages and special offers within approved pricing and discount policies.
• Work with the General Manager on sales strategies, action plans and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate with other departments on client requirements and event details, and monitor deposits and outstanding balances with the Accounts Department.
• Maintain records of leads, quotations, proposals, bookings and payments, and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales, business development or event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication, business acumen and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong sales, negotiation and proposal-writing capability.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
