Sales Manager – Consumer Retail

About the role

The Sales Manager – Consumer Retail will lead the sales activities for the Liquid Home business unit, driving growth and achieving revenue targets in Kenya's consumer market. The role requires deep market insight, the ability to build relationships with key decision makers, and execution of effective sales strategies to increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement consumer acquisition strategies in partnership with the Consumer Solutions Manager.
• Manage and support both direct and indirect sales channels to meet sales targets.
• Coach, mentor and set performance goals for the sales team, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers across the consumer retail segment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, analyse sales data and adjust tactics to maximise revenue.
• Report on sales performance, forecasts and pipeline health to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consumer retail sales or a related sales leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan consumer market and retail dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
