Sales & Marketing Assistant (Travel & Tourism)

About the role

Gamewatchers Safaris is looking for a dynamic and organized Sales & Marketing Assistant to support tour operations, fam‑trip coordination, and marketing activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Department to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and content coordination.
• Assist in coordinating fam‑trip enquiries and bookings for agents, media, and trade partners.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to sales and marketing activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a tour operating company, DMC, travel agency, or hospitality environment in a Sales & Marketing capacity.
• Basic understanding of reservations, tour operations, and itinerary preparation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Tour Plan software.
• Knowledge of the WETU system.
