Sales Specialist

About the role

The Sales Specialist will drive growth for KEDA Ceramics by identifying business opportunities, building strong relationships with key customers, and promoting our ceramic tile range across Nairobi and surrounding markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, architects, developers, retailers and other key customers.
• Identify customer needs, present product solutions, conduct demonstrations and provide consultations to support purchasing decisions.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close sales.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and contribute to market share growth strategies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, pricing, applications and monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Warehouse and Customer Service to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
• Provide after‑sales support, address inquiries or complaints, and identify upselling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2–4 years of proven sales experience, preferably in building materials, ceramic tiles, construction materials, manufacturing or FMCG.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
