SDET / Test Engineer – Automation & CI/CD Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET / Test Engineer to be the quality backbone for our software solutions. The role involves designing automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and using AI tools to accelerate coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Embed quality early in the SDLC by partnering with engineers during design and development.
• Build and maintain automated test pipelines (unit, integration, E2E, regression) that gate deployments.
• Contribute production‑level code where needed to ensure deep system understanding.
• Identify and test performance bottlenecks, race conditions, and failure modes.
• Leverage AI tools to generate test scaffolding, analyse failures, and close coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and advisory teams to translate acceptance criteria into automated coverage.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with modern test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
• Solid programming ability in Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python or similar, writing production‑quality code.
• Proven experience validating REST APIs, JSON payloads and complex data workflows.
• Practical experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and using Git.
• Systems‑thinking mindset with ability to reason about concurrency, state management and data integrity.
• Engineering mindset focused on maintainability, scalability and speed of test suites.
• High autonomy, proactive ownership of quality risks and clear communication to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
