Senior Accountant – Full Cycle, Remote (Canada)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Senior Accountant to own full‑cycle accounting for Canadian clients. You will act as the trusted accounting partner, handling everything from day‑to‑day transactions to strategic financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting for multiple client accounts, including month‑end and year‑end close.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies, advising managers on best practices.
• Collaborate with an on‑shore manager and senior leadership to support client growth.

Required profile

• 4‑6+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience in a major accounting firm or multinational corporation.
• Strong independent judgment, able to solve problems without hand‑holding.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
• Professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA, CA) is a plus.
