Senior Business Applications Officer

About the role

The Senior Business Applications Officer will lead support, optimisation and implementation of new modules for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central within the ERP function. Reporting to the Global Head of ERP, the role focuses on manufacturing, planning and advanced warehouse modules to ensure system efficiency, data integrity and seamless cross‑functional integration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide system support and lead implementation of new Microsoft Dynamics Business Central modules.
• Configure, deploy, train, support and document manufacturing, planning and advanced warehousing modules.
• Develop custom improvements and new modules, and optimise the ERP environment.
• Manage master files, roles, user views, data control, reporting and data‑integrity processes.
• Design and run monthly/quarterly reports to test data accuracy.
• Track and document system changes, tests and upgrades according to SOPs.
• Assist with integration development and JET report support.
• Maintain the ERP issue tracker, create user manuals and prepare PowerPoint presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience deploying and supporting manufacturing, planning and advanced warehousing modules in a large‑scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment (2019 V13 and later).
• Understanding of functional processes, administration and entry‑level development within Business Central.
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with NAV project documentation using the Sure Step methodology.
• Experience with version control in NAV development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self‑directed and able to work without supervision.
