Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to work remotely on a full‑time basis. The role involves managing complex financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading month‑end and year‑end close processes for a global financial services leader.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
