Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full-time remote basis. The role will drive complex financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead month-end and year-end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
