Senior Credit Manager – Sustainable Finance

About the role

Melanin Kapital Neobank is seeking a Senior Credit Manager to lead its credit team in financing green and inclusive SMEs across Africa. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the full credit cycle, ensuring sound, compliant, and impact‑driven financing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review credit memos and committee papers, and follow up on approvals.
• Track portfolio performance, repayments, and client communications.
• Ensure junior officers keep loan data up‑to‑date in the Loan Management System and CRM.
• Support due‑diligence, financial analysis, and loan assessment processes.
• Oversee disbursement documentation and legal tracking.
• Collect and consolidate impact data for quarterly reporting.
• Contribute to internal and external reports and communication materials.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in credit administration, financial analysis, or portfolio management.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work with data, documentation, and financial statements.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Portuguese a plus.
