About the role

Egerton University seeks a Senior Lecturer (Grade 13) specializing in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law to join its Faculty of Law. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, advancing research, and contributing to the university’s academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law.
• Prepare examination materials, grade assessments, and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Supervise at least two postgraduate research students to successful completion.
• Maintain an active research agenda, achieving a minimum of 24 publication points, with at least 16 points from refereed journals.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.

Required profile

• Earned PhD in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law from a recognised university.
• Minimum three (3) years of university‑level teaching experience or equivalent research/industry experience.
• Master’s degree in Administrative Dispute Resolution Law.
• At least 24 publication points, with 16 from refereed journals.
• Experience supervising postgraduate students.
• Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
