About the role

The University seeks a Senior Lecturer (Grade 5a) to lead teaching and research in Hospitality Management. The position is based in Westlands, Kenya.

Required profile

PhD in Hospitality Management or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Hospitality Management or related fields.
Minimum three years of university‑level teaching experience as Lecturer Grade 6A, or six years of relevant research/industry experience.
At least 32 publication points, with a minimum of 24 points from refereed scholarly journals.
Supervision of at least three postgraduate students to completion.
Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
Experience in attracting research or development funding.
Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity (2010).
