Senior Manager, Emergency Cash Delivery

About the role

GiveDirectly is expanding its emergency response operations to deliver cash assistance quickly during crises. As a Senior Manager on the Delivery team, you will build team capacity, strengthen response systems, and help the organization scale its impact.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and train Delivery Managers and surge roster members on response systems, tools, and best practices.
• Support quality assurance across responses and contribute to the strategic vision of the Delivery team.
• Develop and improve operational tools, protocols, and documentation for multiple countries.
• Provide operational diligence, feasibility inputs, and track efficiency metrics for performance management.
• Deploy on short notice to lead emergency cash programs, supervise implementation, and ensure safety and documentation.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of experience in problem solving, team management, cross‑functional collaboration or business development.
• Prior humanitarian or emergency response experience, especially in low‑resource or high‑insecurity settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to prioritize and structure ambiguous problems.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple workstreams.
• Professional fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Portuguese or Arabic are a plus.
