About the role
The Yard Operations & Vehicle Inspection Specialist will report to the Team Lead Yard Operations and manage receipt, inspection, and inventory control of vehicles and related stocks. The role ensures accurate system updates and efficient yard coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Receive stocks to and from the GLC following approved procedures.
- Oversee inspection of all vehicles and stocks before receipt, release, and movement.
- Coordinate yard activities efficiently for handling vehicles and stocks.
- Align logistics planning with CFAO Sales and Operations processes.
- Track intermediate inventory movements, such as vehicle units at accessory suppliers and demonstration units.
- Conduct accurate weekly and monthly stock takes.
- Maintain documentation and processing according to standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Based in Nairobi.
