Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Expert to join a pool of qualified non‑key experts for the “Cooperation Facility to Support the Implementation and Programming of EU Action and Team Europe Initiatives in Lesotho”. The expert will be mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis during the 48‑month project, expected to start in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust monitoring methodologies for the project.
• Conduct operational third‑party monitoring missions in the field.
• Review and refine project logframes, indicators, risk registers and results frameworks.
• Prepare monitoring reports and provide recommendations to improve project implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and results‑based management.
• Proven experience in development cooperation projects.
• Familiarity with EU‑funded projects is an advantage.
