Senior Relationship Manager, Infrastructure & Energy

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will drive the Infrastructure & Energy segment strategy for KCB Group, delivering growth targets and deepening client relationships across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Infrastructure & Energy Business Segment Portfolio strategy in line with KCB Group’s overall strategy.
• Deliver annual growth targets for revenue, fees, commissions, balance sheet and customer numbers.
• Execute client deals according to strategic client plans and collaborate with business partners such as product teams, bancassurance and capital.
• Cross‑sell existing and new products to both existing and new clients.
• Provide consistent, seamless customer service to ensure retention and loyalty.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with key regional customers and stakeholders.
• Prepare timely, quality credit proposals complying with credit policy guidelines.
• Maintain portfolio quality within stipulated Non‑Performing Loans (NPL) and Portfolio at Risk (PAR) parameters.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum seven years of banking experience, including four years in corporate relationship management within infrastructure, contractor financing, real estate, transport, telecommunications or energy sectors.
• Four years of experience in credit and financial analysis.

Required skills

• Knowledge of trade and transaction banking products.
• Digital savviness and computer literacy.
