Senior Security Supervisor

About the role

The Senior Security Supervisor will lead the security team of West Kenya Sugar Company Ltd., a major sugar milling operation in Kenya. This role is responsible for safeguarding company assets, managing security personnel, and ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage security shifts, rosters and deployment of officers.
• Supervise security officers, enforce discipline and conduct performance reviews.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and conduct patrols and inspections.
• Monitor CCTV, alarm and access‑control systems and maintain occurrence books and reports.
• Enforce security policies, assess risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Protect company assets and control movement of materials.
• Coordinate security matters with staff, visitors and external agencies.

Required profile

• KCSE or higher; diploma or degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a security supervisory role, law enforcement, NYS or armed forces.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and manage security risks with high integrity and professionalism.
