Service-based Salesperson

About the role

The company is seeking a Service-based Salesperson to identify prospects and pitch agricultural services to NGOs and similar organisations. This full‑time, on‑site role requires a strong sales background and the ability to quickly learn about crop supply chains.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospects and build a strong service‑sales pipeline
• Research crop supply chains and prospective clients’ needs
• Pitch agricultural services to NGOs and similar organisations
• Prepare pitch decks, presentations and sales reports
• Conduct calls, meetings and consistent follow‑ups
• Maintain accurate prospect lists and communication records
• Use market insights to strengthen service positioning
• Meet outreach and client‑onboarding targets

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness or related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least five years’ experience in sales or business development, including selling services to organisations
• Demonstrable experience in prospecting, pitching, follow‑ups and client onboarding
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills
• Self‑motivated approach and ability to integrate quickly into a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides
