About the role
Equity Afia is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join its network of franchised outpatient centres. The role involves delivering high‑quality ultrasound imaging services and providing accurate diagnostic information to support patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using modern equipment.
- Obtain, process, and interpret images to assist clinicians.
- Prepare and deliver clear radiology reports.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient records in the Health Management Information System.
Required profile
- Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology or Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Registered with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
- Member of the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
- Strong report‑writing ability and good computer proficiency.
