Sourcing Business Partner

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Sourcing Business Partner to drive profitable business outcomes by shaping supplier strategies and supporting sales initiatives. You will work closely with partner organisations, sales teams and product/project forums to secure short‑ and long‑term value for Ericsson and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to develop and endorse category strategies and Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL).
• Identify and promote new business ideas that optimise value extraction from third‑party suppliers.
• Support M&A sourcing projects and contribute to sales processes for winning profitable contracts.
• Ensure sourcing activities align with profitability targets and stakeholder expectations.
• Engage early with partner organisations to increase contribution from third‑party deliveries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing sourcing solutions.
• First academic degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Experience in both direct and indirect sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing practice, processes and strategy.
• Business modelling, demand management and change improvement skills.
• Commercial acumen and understanding of local laws and regulations.
