Specialist III, Sales Support Operations

About the role

This role enables sales effectiveness and operational excellence across East Africa, acting as a central coordination point between Sales, Solutions, Operations, Technology, Marketing, Finance, Legal and external stakeholders. It contributes to revenue growth, client retention and improved execution of strategic business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate commercial operations including pricing, contract management, billing, and Days Sales Outstanding tracking.
• Maintain contract repositories, monitor renewals and support timely client renewals.
• Drive sales enablement by organizing training sessions, onboarding materials and knowledge‑management resources.
• Provide tender and RFP support, manage bid documentation and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Oversee B2B support mailboxes, ticket lifecycle management and customer communications.
• Facilitate partner and client onboarding, including risk‑management and documentation.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, event logistics and track performance metrics.
• Gather market intelligence, develop competitive battlecards and compile industry reports.
• Support product growth initiatives, monitor adoption trends and prepare operational dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 3‑5+ years experience in sales operations, commercial operations or similar business support roles.
• Strong project coordination, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Ability to work independently while influencing cross‑functional teams.

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and reporting tools.
