Stock Auditor

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Stock Auditor based in Nairobi. The role covers regular stock audits, inventory analysis, ERP and Excel-based reporting, and inventory controls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock audits and physical counts, verify inventory against system records and follow up on variances with the relevant teams.
• Investigate and document stock variances, discrepancies, losses and other irregularities.
• Prepare stock reports on balances, variances, movements and adjustments, and analyse data to spot trends and potential stock loss.
• Use ERP systems to generate and review inventory reports, reconcile system records with physical stock and escalate discrepancies.
• Analyse large volumes of inventory data with advanced Excel functions and maintain spreadsheets and trackers for reconciliation and audit purposes.
• Review stock handling and inventory control processes, ensure transactions are documented and authorised, and support the implementation of control procedures.
• Maintain records of audits, counts and reconciliations and follow up on outstanding issues until resolved.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Over 1 year of experience in stock auditing, inventory analysis, stock control or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required skills

• Practical experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel for inventory analysis and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis and reporting.
• Strong inventory auditing and reconciliation skills.
