Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Brites Management Services is looking for a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist in Mombasa. The role covers the end-to-end recruitment process, from job profiling and sourcing through to interviews, selection, reference checks and onboarding coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: job profiling, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, reference checks and onboarding coordination.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, databases and networking.
• Work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions and deliver candidates within agreed timelines.
• Conduct structured interviews and assessments, keep candidates informed and coordinate interviews, feedback, offers and reference checks.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records in the ATS, HRIS and spreadsheets, track vacancies and pipelines and prepare regular reports.
• Keep recruitment documentation compliant with company policy and Kenyan labour laws, and support employer branding and talent acquisition strategy.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment, preferably across multiple roles or departments.

Required skills

• Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for recruitment tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of sourcing methods, interviewing techniques, candidate assessment and labour laws.
