Technical Sales Representative – Bungoma

About the role

The Technical Sales Representative will drive sales growth of animal health products across Western Kenya, develop customer relationships and provide technical advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sales operations and coordinate activities within the territory.
• Achieve sales targets aligned with regional and company objectives.
• Manage distributor orders, invoices, credit, and inventory.
• Recruit and develop relationships with new and existing customers to increase market share.
• Grow brand visibility using Result Demonstration Plot methodologies.
• Monitor competition and devise mitigation strategies.
• Prepare weekly route plans, sales performance reports, demand forecasts and market intelligence.
• Maintain accurate customer database and support analysis.
• Manage regional collection and promotional budgets and ensure compliance with asset care policies.
• Participate in regional meetings and perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animal Health/Veterinary Medicine, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Agriculture or related field.
• Minimum four years’ experience in the animal health industry.
• Proven track record in distributor management and route‑to‑market models.
• Valid driver’s licence with at least two years driving experience.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation and organizational skills.
• High integrity, self‑driven with strong initiative.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
