Technology Senior Auditor

About the role

The Technology Senior Auditor will lead high‑quality assurance and audit engagements across a portfolio of technology functions. You will evaluate applications, infrastructure, cyber‑security, business continuity and third‑party services, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Apply audit methodology, corporate standards and internal control processes to execute technology audits.
• Identify key risks, develop control assessment plans, draft findings and present practical solutions to technology management.
• Collaborate with other audit teams to deliver assignments on time and within budget.
• Monitor the risk and control environment of technology and cybersecurity operations, including emerging risks.
• Assess regulatory impact on technology processes and ensure controls meet compliance requirements.
• Maintain effective line‑management relationships for a “no‑surprises” approach.
• Contribute to automated auditing initiatives and continuous control monitoring.
• Support corporate strategic initiatives through proactive stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience auditing or managing IT infrastructure, applications or services in a medium to large organization, preferably within banking or finance.
• Strong understanding of IT risks, controls, and relevant regulations.
• Experience with cyber‑risk frameworks, threat and vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Hands‑on knowledge of desktop and server technologies, virtualization, cloud operations, databases, middleware, data and voice networks, and software development/production environments.
