Territory Manager – Nairobi DTR & South Rift

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will drive sales, shipments and in‑store presence across Nairobi DTR and South Rift, working closely with distributors and Reckitt’s headquarters. You will be responsible for executing trade initiatives, building distributor capabilities and ensuring the health of the business in your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve stretch sales, shipment and KPI targets (ECOs, drop size, etc.) in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with distributors and internal teams to plan coverage, monitor stock, sales and trade receivables, and take corrective actions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through data analysis and field visits.
• Forecast brand‑wise and SKU‑wise sales to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Train distributor sales teams on selling fundamentals and Reckitt’s trade policies.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. or HND in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in FMCG/CPG.
• Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and build strong relationships.

Required skills

• Strong people‑relations and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in sales forecasting and data analysis.
