Three Wheeler Van Sales Representative - Nairobi

About the role

The Partnership Agency is hiring a Van Sales Representative in Nairobi. The person drives the company van to assigned areas, manages product distribution, builds relationships with customers and achieves sales targets. The role calls for excellent communication skills, comfort in a sales-driven environment and effective customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and distribution: visit customers and territories according to the route plan, promote and sell company products to meet monthly targets, monitor stock in the van and ensure products are delivered and displayed to company standards.
• Customer relationship management: build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, handle inquiries and complaints, gather feedback and pass it to the Sales Manager.
• Merchandising: keep products displayed on shelves to company standards and implement promotions, offers and marketing campaigns in stores.
• Reporting and documentation: prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and keep accurate records of sales, receipts and deliveries.
• Vehicle management: keep the van clean and maintained, monitor fuel and maintenance needs, follow safety regulations and driving standards.
• Market intelligence: track competitors' activities, pricing and new products, and suggest ways to expand sales in the region.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Valid driving licence for the specified category.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with handheld devices or sales tracking systems.
