About the role
Career Directions Limited (CDL) is hiring a Trade Development Representative for Ruaka. The role focuses on channel visits to raise retailer awareness and improve SIM and float sales, while keeping visibility and merchandising strong at the point of sale for SSOs and T-Kash agents.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit and map agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores
- Visit SSOs and agents regularly on agreed beat plans
- Provide transaction tools and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on processes
- Train agents on AML and SSOs on KYC under SIMREG
- Monitor and enforce the 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have enough SIMs for new registrations and activations
- Develop and maintain merchandising standards by providing merchandising materials at outlets
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role in FMCG or telecoms
- Customer focus, influencing and negotiation skills, networking and partnership building, analytical thinking
