Tutorial Fellow – Biochemistry

About the role

The Tutorial Fellow will teach assigned biochemistry courses, develop lectures and practical sessions, review course materials, and provide mentorship and career guidance to students at Zetech University.

Key responsibilities

• Teach courses allocated by the Head of Department, delivering high‑quality lectures and practicals.
• Design, develop, plan and deliver programmes of study, including new courses at various levels.
• Review and update course content and materials regularly.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues on curriculum development and research activities.
• Conduct research, write grant proposals and present papers at national or international conferences.
• Seek and participate in consultancies and disseminate research outputs.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry or a related field from an accredited university.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Medical Biochemistry or a related field.
• At least three (3) years of post‑qualification work experience.
• Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
• Commitment to high‑quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
