Tyre Sales Manager – Commercial Vehicles (Mombasa)

About the role

Our client, a leading automotive player, is looking for an experienced Tyre Sales Manager to drive growth in the commercial vehicle and truck tyre market across the Coast region. You will lead sales initiatives, expand market share and build strong relationships with fleet owners and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow a robust customer portfolio within the commercial vehicle and truck sector.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships to increase tyre sales.
• Provide expert recommendations on tyre selection based on vehicle type, operating conditions and customer needs.
• Collaborate with marketing to launch sales campaigns and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor actions and customer requirements to spot growth opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports and market intelligence for senior management.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably in the tyre, automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
• Proven network of fleet customers, transport companies, dealers and distribution channels.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Self‑driven, commercially minded and capable of working independently.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial tyre brands and applications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
