Van Sales Executive – Baby Care / Beauty Care Products

About the role

Career Directions Limited is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a full-time Van Sales Executive to drive sales and distribution of Baby Care and Beauty Care products across assigned territories in Kenya. The role covers daily routes, customer relationships, product availability and sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily van sales activities within the assigned territory to meet sales and distribution targets.
• Promote and sell the Baby Care and/or Beauty Care product range to retail outlets and other customers.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new accounts.
• Ensure effective product merchandising and visibility at customer outlets.
• Manage route plans efficiently to maximise sales coverage and productivity.
• Monitor van stock levels and reconcile inventory accurately.
• Process customer orders, collect payments where applicable and keep accurate sales records.
• Share market intelligence on competitors' activities, pricing and customer trends.
• Follow company policies, safety standards and vehicle operating procedures.
• Prepare and submit daily sales, inventory and route performance reports.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• 2 to 3 years of experience selling Baby Care / Beauty Care products.
• Experience in van sales and route-to-market (RTM) operations.
• Valid B1/B2 driving licence (mandatory).
• Diploma or certificate in Business, Sales & Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.

• Good communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented and able to work independently.
