About the role
The County Government of Kitui is recruiting a Village Administrator III for a full-time, on-site position in Kitui. The role coordinates village administration, implements county government policies and addresses residents' concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and supervise the general administrative functions of the village unit
- Generate proposals to help develop policies and plans
- Ensure effective service delivery
- Coordinate development activities that empower the community
- Provide and maintain infrastructure and facilities of public service
- Facilitate and coordinate citizen participation in policy and service delivery
- Contribute to organizing public participation awareness at the local level
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time
Required profile
- Kenyan citizen
- Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or another Social Science from a recognised institution
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution
