Volunteer Community Manager

About the role

Abetec Hub, a skills innovation platform focused on digital transformation, AI tools, circular economy, green innovation, impact-driven entrepreneurship, faith-driven innovations and corporate upskilling, is looking for a Volunteer Community Manager. The role is remote, unpaid and flexible, with a time commitment of 2 hours per day and a start date of immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Guide learners through their DataCamp learning journey, keeping them motivated and on track to complete courses.
• Host webinars, learning meetups and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Keep the ABETEC Hub website community active, welcoming and engaging.
• Spark meaningful conversations, promote peer learning and celebrate member milestones.
• Coordinate activities, share announcements, follow up with learners, gather feedback and suggest ways to boost engagement.

Required profile

• Proactive, reliable and able to manage daily commitments independently.
• Approachable, supportive and genuinely passionate about helping others learn and grow.
• Able to commit 2 hours per day and follow through on agreed activities.
• Previous experience in community management, training or webinar facilitation is an advantage.

Required skills

• Confidence hosting webinars and facilitating group discussions.
• Comfort navigating digital platforms and online communication tools.
