VP, Hive Tech Lead – HR (India/Malaysia)

About the role

The VP, Hive Tech Lead – HR will oversee release management and technology controls for Standard Chartered Bank across India or Malaysia. This senior position coordinates multi‑squad delivery, ensures compliance with governance standards, and drives continuous improvement of release processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop delivery and release plans, aligning technical dependencies with partners, architects and vendors.
• Own end‑to‑end product delivery, coordinating change implementation, vendor engagement, and release scheduling.
• Orchestrate deployments, issue resolution and sign‑offs in partnership with IT engineers.
• Review and improve release‑to‑production processes, measuring maturity and publishing metrics.
• Manage risk, ensure compliance with Change Delivery Standards, ITSM and ESDLC, and govern release artefacts.
• Communicate release schedules and updates to all stakeholders.
• Lead go‑live activities, execute deployment plans and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Demonstrated senior leadership in technology delivery and release management.
• Strong understanding of risk management, governance and regulatory compliance within a banking environment.
