About the role
The County Assembly of Kiambu is seeking a Ward Security Officer to protect the Ward Office of Hon. Mburu Susan. The role involves overseeing access control, safeguarding property, and reporting incidents in a county government environment. It is an on‑site, full‑time position requiring Kenyan citizenship.
Key responsibilities
- Prevent removal of office property without proper documentation.
- Oversee overall security of the Ward Office, including checking windows, doors and entrances.
- Control admittance of persons to the premises.
- Inspect fire hazards and other safety matters.
- Report and document security incidents to the Ward Office Personal Assistant.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Member.
Required profile
- Must be an adult Kenyan citizen.
- Must have basic education.
- Experience in security matters is an added advantage.
