Water Supply Technician II (Tier 4) – Manda Bay

About the role

The Water Supply Technician II provides essential water supply services at the Manda Bay site, operating and maintaining water purification equipment to ensure safe, potable water production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate water purification equipment and control pumps and valves to maintain production levels.
• Administer chemicals for disinfection, sterilization, deodorization, and clarification of untreated water.
• Regulate water flow through filter beds and clean water tanks and filter beds to remove contaminants.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and conduct water quality testing.
• Communicate project status, issues, and requirements with site management and functional leaders.
• Provide data to Automated Information Systems (AIS) as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma / GED equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in water supply or purification.
• Certification as a water purification specialist.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
