About the role
UN-Habitat is looking for a Global Advocacy Consultant to support the World Urban Forum (WUF13) advocacy programme. The role will contribute to raising awareness of the Forum’s theme, high‑level tracks and outcomes across global, regional, national and sub‑national levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote WUF13 and its objectives.
- Engage and mobilise stakeholders, partners and donors to support the Forum.
- Prepare communication materials, briefing notes and outreach content.
- Coordinate with UN‑Habitat teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.
- Monitor and report on advocacy impact and stakeholder feedback.
Required profile
- Proven experience in global or regional advocacy, preferably in urban development.
- Strong understanding of urban issues and the UN system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and stakeholders.
