About the role
The Yard Operations & Vehicle Inspection role is based in Nairobi and reports to the Team Lead Yard Operations. It focuses on managing receipt, inspection, inventory control and ensuring timely updates of all systems.
Key responsibilities
- Receive stocks to and from the GLC following approved procedures.
- Oversee inspection of all vehicles and stocks prior to receipt, release and movement.
- Coordinate yard activity efficiently for handling vehicles and stocks.
- Align logistics planning with CFAO Sales and Operations processes.
- Track inventory for intermediate movements such as accessory, supplier and demonstration units.
- Conduct accurate weekly and monthly stock takes.
- Maintain documentation and processing according to standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of workshop or maintenance experience.
