About the role
The Youth Coordinator will work with young people in Kilifi and surrounding counties to harness media and storytelling for positive social change. The role involves community mobilisation, content creation, and supporting field activities.
Required profile
- Young person living in or strongly linked to one of the 14 target counties.
- Understanding of local youth, creative and community ecosystems.
- Experience or interest in filmmaking, digital content creation, social media, community mobilisation, communications, journalism, arts or storytelling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to mobilise and work with other young people.
- Integrity, responsibility and respect for confidentiality.
- Comfortable using digital and social media platforms.
- Willingness to support community‑based activities and occasional field engagements.
- Interest in CSEA/GBV prevention, child protection, SRHR, youth empowerment or community development.
