About the role
Bridge Talent Management is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its automotive division in Nairobi. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company’s financial health.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, post journal entries, and perform bank, AP, and AR reconciliations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, manage VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoice processing and collections.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and provide insights to management.
- Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard assets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA or ACCA certification.
- 4‑5 years of experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and general ledger management.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.
What we offer
- Competitive monthly salary between KES 80,000 and 100,000.
- Full‑time permanent contract.
