Accountant II – Financial & Receivables Specialist

About the role
The Accountant II will provide essential financial and administrative support across receivables, inventory, and retail functions. You will ensure accurate reporting, effective cash‑flow management, and strict compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile and verify company transactions, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare periodic financial performance reports.
- Assist treasury operations to support cash‑flow management.
- Support inventory management and reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Manage debt collection and credit control, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
- Record incoming payments, reconcile accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Prepare schedules and reconciliations for internal and external audits.
- Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial control policies and statutory regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- KCSE B+ or higher.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Statistics (Second Upper Class).
- CPA/ACCA minimum Level 2.
- Knowledge of SAP and experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.
